Product Description

The Filosha PID / VOC Detector brings laboratory-grade sensitivity to portable field monitoring. Its photoionisation detector uses a high-energy ultraviolet lamp to ionise volatile organic compounds, generating a signal proportional to concentration and enabling detection of hundreds of VOCs, including aromatics, solvents, fuels and many hazardous vapours, down to parts-per-billion levels. This sensitivity reveals low-level and trace exposures that catalytic or electrochemical sensors cannot resolve, giving hygienists and safety teams an early, accurate picture of airborne organic contamination long before it becomes acutely dangerous.

Housed in a rugged, ergonomic enclosure suited to the heat, dust and humidity of GCC and Indian sites, the detector delivers rapid response and recovery for real-time surveys and boundary checks. A clear display shows live concentration with configurable correction factors for specific target compounds, while audible, visual and vibrating alarms trigger the moment thresholds are exceeded. Onboard datalogging captures readings for exposure records and reporting, and straightforward lamp cleaning and calibration keep the unit dependable.
