The Filosha Particulate Filter P3 is engineered for tasks where airborne particles pose a serious inhalation risk. As the highest particulate classification, P3 media captures at least 99.95 per cent of fine dusts, welding and metal fumes, oil and water mists, and biological or chemical aerosols, offering protection even against toxic, radioactive and carcinogenic particulates. The electrostatically charged, pleated filter medium presents a large surface area within a compact cartridge, so it holds a high dust load and sustains a long service life while keeping inhalation resistance comfortably low, an important advantage during heavy work in hot climates.
Designed to fit standard bayonet or threaded connections on Filosha half and full-face respirators, the P3 filter mounts quickly and seals reliably, and can be used in pairs on a full facepiece to further reduce breathing effort. Individually sealed packaging protects the media from moisture and contamination during storage in humid GCC and Indian conditions, and the low-profile shape preserves the wearer's field of view. Because only the filter is replaced, the respirator body serves across many shifts at low running cost. Ideal for grinding, cutting, welding, pharmaceutical handling, cement and mineral processing and general dusty maintenance, the Particulate Filter P3 gives safety teams a robust, high-efficiency defence against the fine particulates that ordinary dust masks cannot adequately control. It protects against particles only and must be combined with a gas filter where vapours are also present.
