The Filosha Fixed Oxygen Detector continuously monitors oxygen levels in enclosed and confined areas to protect workers from asphyxiation and fire risk. Measuring oxygen as a percentage by volume, it alarms on both depletion caused by inert gases and dangerous enrichment, driving ventilation or shutdown responses to keep occupied spaces safe.
The Filosha Fixed Oxygen Detector safeguards personnel in areas where the breathable atmosphere can be silently degraded. Oxygen depletion, typically caused by displacement from nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon or other inert gases, can render a space fatal without any warning odour or symptom, while oxygen enrichment sharply raises the risk of fire. Mounted permanently in the space it protects, the detector measures oxygen concentration as a percentage by volume and continuously compares it against safe thresholds, transmitting readings and alarms to the plant control or fire-and-gas system so that ventilation, warning devices or process interlocks can respond immediately.
Housed in a rugged, corrosion-resistant enclosure suited to humid and coastal conditions across the GCC and India, the detector features a clear local display and status indicators that let operators confirm the atmosphere before and during entry. Configurable low and high alarm set points cover both deficiency and enrichment scenarios, and standard analogue and digital outputs integrate readily with existing systems. Replaceable sensor modules and straightforward calibration keep the unit dependable with minimal downtime. Installed in plant rooms, gas-blanketed vessels, storage cellars, laboratories and other enclosed spaces, the Fixed Oxygen Detector provides essential continuous assurance that the atmosphere remains safe to occupy.
