The Bunded Flooring System transforms ordinary floor space into a fully contained storage or work area using a modular arrangement of interlocking polyethylene platforms. Each unit combines a deep sump with a strong, walkable grid deck, so any leaks, drips or spills from stored containers fall through the surface and collect safely below. Modules connect together to build platforms of virtually any size and shape, allowing sites to create bespoke bunded compounds for drum banks, IBC stores, dispensing stations or process areas that match their exact footprint and containment volume requirements.
Moulded from durable, chemically resistant polyethylene, the platforms resist acids, alkalis and hydrocarbons while supporting substantial loads across the deck. The grid surface is easy to walk and work on, keeping operators clear of collected liquid and reducing slip hazards, while the sump below can be inspected and pumped out during routine maintenance. Optional ramps and edge units allow trolleys, drums and pallet trucks to be wheeled on and off, and further modules can be added at any time to extend the area as storage needs grow.
