The Filosha Supplied-Air Hood System combines a constant-flow hood and visor with an air-distribution waistcoat to protect the head, face and airways during spraying, abrasive blasting and confined-space tasks. Clean air fed from an airline flows across the face and down over the body, keeping the wearer supplied, cool and shielded from paint mist, dust and rebounding abrasive.
The Filosha Supplied-Air Hood System delivers whole-head respiratory protection for the most demanding coating, blasting and confined-space operations. Clean breathing air, supplied from an airline source, enters the hood and flows continuously across the visor and around the face before venting, maintaining positive pressure that keeps paint overspray, dust, fume and rebounding abrasive media out of the breathing zone. The air then passes through an integrated waistcoat that distributes flow over the torso, providing a cooling effect that markedly improves comfort during long shifts in hot GCC and Indian conditions.
The hood provides generous coverage of the head, neck and shoulders, with a durable, impact-resistant visor giving a wide, clear field of view and, in blasting configurations, replaceable tear-off lenses to protect against abrasion. A comfortable inner harness supports the hood securely, and the lightweight materials reduce neck fatigue over extended use. A belt-mounted flow valve lets the operator balance breathing air and cooling to preference, while the system connects through standard quick-release couplings to constant-flow respirators, airline manifolds and breathing-air trolleys. Robustly built to survive the abrasive, dusty realities of surface-preparation and confined work, the Supplied-Air Hood System raises both safety and productivity for tasks such as spray painting, grit blasting, tank cleaning and chemical handling, helping operators meet stringent respiratory and occupational-health standards.
