Product Description

The Open-Circuit SCBA Set delivers respiratory protection where the surrounding atmosphere is hazardous, oxygen-deficient or immediately dangerous to life and health. Air is drawn from a high-pressure cylinder, regulated through a first-stage pressure reducer and delivered on demand to a panoramic full-face mask. A lung-governed demand valve maintains constant positive pressure inside the facepiece, so any leak flows outward and prevents contaminants from entering. Exhaled air is discharged to atmosphere, giving the open-circuit configuration its simplicity and reliability under demanding field conditions.

Engineered to EN 137, the set combines an ergonomic moulded backplate with a padded, height-adjustable harness that distributes cylinder weight comfortably across the shoulders and hips. An integrated pressure gauge and audible low-pressure whistle keep the wearer informed of remaining air, while the quick-fit connection accepts both composite and steel cylinders. Robust materials and a straightforward maintenance regime suit continuous use in oil and gas, petrochemical, marine and fire-and-rescue operations throughout the GCC and India.
