Decanting liquids into drums and managing damaged containers are two of the most common sources of workplace spills. The Filosha Drum Funnel & Overpack addresses both. The sealable drum funnel fits securely onto standard drum openings, providing a wide, splash-controlled aperture for pouring, filling and mixing, with a lockable or hinged lid that keeps contents contained, excludes rainwater and dust, and reduces evaporation and odour between uses. Its chemical-resistant polyethylene body withstands oils, fuels, solvents and aggressive chemicals without corroding.
The accompanying overpack drum provides UN-approved secondary containment for drums that are leaking, damaged or nearing the end of their service life. A compromised container is simply placed inside the overpack, which safely contains any escaping liquid and allows the drum to be stored, quarantined or transported to a disposal facility without risk of pollution. The robust polyethylene construction resists impact and corrosion, while a secure lid maintains a sealed enclosure.
